Michael Jordan's Trainer Thinks MJ Could Average 20 Points If He Played in the NBA Today

Look, we know that, if he made a commitment to do it, Michael Jordan could probably play in the NBA again. In fact, we know he could do it. And, he could probably still put up some points, too?for at least a few games. But then, we have to believe that his body would begin to break down more quickly than it used to and, before long, he'd be struggling to score more than five or six points per game. THE GUY IS 50! He's not supposed to be dropping 20-plus points every night in the NBA anymore.

His former trainer Tim Grover isn't so sure about that, though. He believes that, if he wanted to, MJ could still average 20 per game playing in the NBA. He said so during a radio interview earlier today.

"He'd average 20," Grover said. "Yeah, he'd average 20?Yes, Father Time is undefeated. But, again, there's so much advancement out there?in anti-aging and so forth, so it is possible. I don't think that he would come back unless he was 100 percent ready."

The only problem? Like we said, MJ is 50. There's really no such thing as "100 percent" anymore. So, can we please stop pretending like he's really going to make a comeback and win the scoring title next season? Not going to happen, guys. Not. Going. To. Happen.
