Fax Sending Issue - Elastix Forums :: Open Source Unified ...

Hey,

Using Elastix 2.4.

I am able to receive faxes on the Virtual Fax module provided with Elastix.

When I am trying to send faxes its gives me the error: [S] No answer from remote

I checked the dial route by logging in to the same IAX extension from a softphone, and I can dial properly without any problems.

Any hints or suggestions. I tried configuring:

/etc/inittab added: iax1:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/iaxmodem ttyIAX1
