For efficient training in gymnastics, training mats are the best tool. In gymnastics, your training is important because this sport is very physically demanding. You have to condition your mind and body to perform the movements efficiently. It takes years to be perfect in conditioning the mind and the body. Some athletes in this sport train as early as their childhood years. Gymnastics tests our ability in agility, balance, flexibility, endurance, rhythm and strength.

  • You must choose gymnastics training mats according to their thickness and sizes of the foam you want to have. Small foam usually measures 24in x 24in. On the other hand, large foam measures 24in x 72in. The thickness of both sizes usually range from 2in to 2cm.
  • Choose thicker mats for landing and training events which is 8in to 15in thick is usually enough for landing activities.
  • And, for tumbling training mats, you must choose mats with a high impact support.
